Annotations inspired by Brownorama

Ok, so I'm working on something cool and I need an annotation shape and I'm not feeling any of the usual visio stencils. Then I remember an old article by Papa Brownorama - Wireframe Annotations in Visio : Special Deliverable #11. So I decided to make my own and I have uploaded the result. Mine is a little different in that I don't link the annotation number to the footnote shape but my text sizes with the shape.
Yes this is only useful up to 9 annotations a page, you should not do more then 9 per page.

Emotional Little Dude

Here is a stencil that I like to use in all kinds of diagrams from process diagrams to usability testing results and more. If you right click on the shape you will see the options of changing the character on the chest, making it a boy or a girl, and changing the emotions it is portraying. If you want to change the colour of it's body just use the fill color button (the other colours in the shape are protected). Double clicking on the shape will edit the shapes text which is anchored to a control point for easy positioning. I hope this shape will help others as it has helped me.

Have some dingbats, Numbskull

We're going to to start this sites tools off slow-and-smooth. These are common dingbats from the fonts: Webdings, Wingdings, Wingdings2 and Wingdings3 that are part of the Windows OS outlined into graphics. Dingbats are cool and having these as common graphics can save you time.

ElVisio loves Visio (and Pee Wee) but is not crazy about Trackbacks, RSS, Permalinks, AJAX, Comments, Tags, or Lawsuits (so please don't sue me)
